Yoga and meditation practices offer support and resources to us as we grow—and, these practices also need resources and support in order to grow and develop along with us.
Private yoga sessions with me are most helpful for folks who:
- want to develop a daily practice of any kind—movement, yoga, meditation, art, ritual, etc.
- have injuries or find themselves getting hurt when they practice
- are going through transition and crave the support of a caring and knowledgeable guide
For 17 years, I have been guiding folks through one-on-one, body-based healing sessions. During your session, you can expect to receive: respectful treatment; relevant, fully-clothed, and strictly consensual hands-on care; anatomy lessons (if you want them); a faithful witness for your practice; and integrative reflections. You can also request a customized write-up of sequences, tips, and tools.

I am able to offer sliding scale services to a limited number of folks and am happy to discuss the possibilities with you. Sessions are held at Magictown Movement Studio in Marshall, NC—in some cases we can arrange an another location, but a travel fee may be added on the normal rate.
I advocate for Slow Yoga as an opportunity to build a practice founded on deep listening to the body—honoring deeply as we accept the challenge to slow down and pay attention. This kind of focus can help you develop deeper energetic power at the foundation of your practice and your life.
